Elahee Buksh Group is proud to be one of the oldest names in the region, holding a diverse business portfolio. Elahee Buksh & Co was established in 1835, creating the foundations of the group. The name soon became synonymous with quality and service in the areas of sporting arms and military stores. The next significant development was the establishment of a manufacturing division, producing some of the best ammunition available in the sub-continent. The military stores and ammunition trade grew rapidly and the company was appointed as the preferred supplier to the government.
Post-independence, the group acquired Hilal Steel Industries; the best conduit pipe manufacturing unit at that time. During the 1970’s the group saw a strategic opportunity in real estate development and construction. Soon it became a leading player and was responsible for envisioning and developing of landmark residential and commercial projects in prime locations.
A benchmark project for the industry The Forum, state of the art development, housing corporate offices, anchored around a shopping mall, contain leading local and international brands, a supermarket, and a food court. The Forum has become one of the most prestigious corporate addresses, in addition to being the preferred shopping destination.
The group established EBCO supermarket in 2005, a one-stop shop that offers exceptional quality and convenience to its customers. Further, in 2016, MRS Enterprise was formed in a vertical backward integration move as a FMCG distribution set-up.
The Time Out concept was launched in 2003 in Karachi to leverage the rapidly growing hospitality industry. Similarly, the Rendezvous Restaurant launched in Islamabad, offers a diverse ethnic cuisine in a quality ambiance.
